About Me

From Refugee to AI Researcher

I arrived in the UK from Iraq as a refugee in 2009. Since then, I've dedicated myself to mastering data engineering and giving back to communities that supported me.

With an MSc in Big Data and Business Intelligence (Distinction) and BSc in Computer Science from the University of Greenwich, I'm now embarking on a PhD researching AI applications in healthcare and medicine - combining my technical expertise with meaningful impact.

My PhD runs 3 days per week, leaving me available for consulting, contract, or part-time work 2 days per week. I bring SC clearance, government experience, and deep expertise in AWS, Azure, Python, and MLOps.
